Level 1 and 2 Combined is a weekend course open to anyone which introduces and explores in depth the principles and foundations of the HANDLE approach. Eleven HANDLE activities are taught that can be used and adapted for people of all ages and abilities.
Taught by Sean Williams, this lively and accessible course begins with a 6.30 pm - 9.30 pm session on Friday evening, followed by sessions running 9.30 am - 5.30 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
The course costs £275 for the whole weekend (£500 for two participants) including lunch and course materials, or £250 (£470 for two participants) if booked before February 10th 2016. Some concessions based on financial need are available, and we have some special subsidised places for local residents.
Places for Level 2 only are £200 or £180 if booked before February 10th 2016. Prior completion of HANDLE Level 1 is a prerequisite for one of these places.
The location is Brighton Steiner School, Roedean Rd, Brighton BN2 5RA. The school is on the corner of Roedean Road and Whitehawk Road, with the entrance on Whitehawk Road. Please note that if using GoogleMaps, searching the postcode of the school shows the wrong location, and searching the name of the school shows the correct place! The map on the left also shows the correct location.
